WANTED: new 'bins & picks' project lead!

Last year, following discussions with our members, Morrisons South Shields kindly offered a number of litter bins to be located around South Tyneside and also agreed to sponsor organised litter picks. South Tyneside Council are also onboard with the project and have agreed to site the litter bins and incorporate them into their collection rounds but we’re only a small team and just don’t have capacity at the minute, there’s simply not enough hours in the day!

With that in mind, we're looking for someone to take the lead for the project.

There’s not a lot to the role – the council are onside and they’re keen to get started, it’s just a case of coordinating with the Morrisons Community Champion so we can get the bins located.
